This event focuses on providing education, empowerment, and promoting the legal access to psilocybin mushrooms in a non-commercial atmosphere, devoid of monetary transactions. Please RSVP for this free 21+ event and remember to bring a valid ID and sign a waiver upon entrance.

Event is broken into two time slots for receivers:
Receiver’s RSVP: Time Slot One - 6-7:30 (SOLD OUT)
Receiver’s RSVP: Time Slot Two - 7:30-9 (FEW SPOTS LEFT)

Gifter’s RSVP is for the full evening (6-9). If you are interested in sharing medicine at this event and have questions please reach out to micromondays@protonmail.com (Email subject: "Gifter Inquiry | Carbondale Portal"). (FEW SPOTS LEFT)

Since the passing of Proposition 122 in Colorado, ARPC has been watching a unique and emerging phenomenon. This legislation permits personal cultivation of mushrooms within specific dimensions, leading to successful cultivation and sharing of abundance. As a result, the gift portal concept emerged as a community-led initiative that focuses on education, empowerment, and promoting legal access to psilocybin mushrooms. To enter, participants must provide a waiver and valid ID. Receivers at the event receive a copy of "Psilocybin 101: A Beginner's Guide To Magic Mushrooms." The event prioritizes a non-commercial atmosphere, devoid of business advertisements or monetary transactions. Professionals from various fields, including medical, healthcare, spiritual, and therapeutic communities, are encouraged to participate in supporting the community at these events.

Ceremonial Cannabis Circle

Cannabis is a psychedelic and when held in a particular set and setting with an experienced guide it can encourage profound healing shifts. Join us in ceremony with Brooks Barron at The Launchpad in Carbondale, CO Friday, July 14th from 6p-10p. Method: Vaporizers. Participation upon liability form and $50-$100 contribution on site.

Brooks Barron, local to Carbondale, combines leadership coaching, wilderness guiding, and psychedelic guiding as founder of Starlight Leadership. He helps impact-driven leaders come fully alive and make their best contribution to the world from a place of alignment, presence and peace. Brooks typically supports leaders at a threshold moment in their lives — i.e. reached traditional success but craving something deeper, facing burnout/misalignment, and/or called to build a more beautiful world. His work builds a bridge between the practical and the mystical, connecting the healing, inspiration, and empowerment of altered states with an embodied awareness of one's unique gifts, and the opportunity to live a profoundly impactful and purposeful life.

Brooks has been working with cannabis as a psychedelic since 2021 and has found it to be one of the most potent and effective psychedelic medicines out there. He is credentialed as a Cannabis-Assisted Psychedelic Guide by The Center for Medicinal Mindfulness, certified as a 15 Commitments of Conscious Leadership Coach by the Conscious Leadership Group, and has apprenticed as a vision quest guide with Animas Valley Institute. He holds an MBA/MS from Stanford.

The Psychedelic State of America

From de-prioritization in 2019 to decriminalization and regulated access models today, legislation surrounding psychedelics in the United States has made incredible progress over the past few years. And this momentum doesn’t appear to be stopping.

As the United States continues its path towards regulated access, what can be learned from global and indigenous perspectives and models of use? How did we get here? Where IS ‘here,’ exactly? How can the steps taken thus far inform our current approach, where do we want to go, and what does it all mean?

Join us for a panel of key players from national and international perspectives that can support our understanding of where we are, and what lies ahead:

  • Melissa Stangl – Founding partner & COO of Soltara Healing Center, a Shipibo-led ayahuasca center integrating psychotherapeutic support with wisdom traditions, with centers in Costa Rica and Peru. She is also co-founder of The Maloca, an integration and community platform supporting holistic healing, plant medicine education, and reciprocity.

  • Kevin Matthews - one of the leading psychedelic policy reform professional in the United States. He successfully managed the Denver Psilocybin Initiative (I-301) which made Denver the first city in the U.S.United States to decriminalize psilocybin in 2019, and in 2022 he was the co-Chief Proponent and Coalition Director for Colorado's historic Proposition 122, also known aswhich became the Natural Medicine Health Act, offering regulated access to psychedelic medicines for adults 21 and over and removing criminal penalties for personal use.

  • Courtney Barnes - a devoted social justice attorney with extensive experience drafting drug reform policy legislation. She also serves as a Policy Advisor for Decriminalize Nature, General Counsel for the Society for Psychedelic Outreach, Reform, and Education (SPORE), and Advisory Board Member of Heroic Hearts Project, Inc.

  • Skippy Mesirow – Aspen City Councilperson (and Soltara alumnus!), a spark and driving force in the Aspen movement for therapeutic access to psychedelics, and Founder of the Elected Leaders Collective, a company bringing tools and community of mental health and wellbeing to mission-driven public-sector workers.

This panel will break down what the psychedelic movement currently looks like in the U.S. political space, as well as ways we can learn from existing international models of care and ways of knowing —The Psychedelic State of America.
